St Thaddeus Child Care Society was founded in 1998 and got its official registration as a Society in 2000 in the Republic of Kenya. The mandate of the organization is to implement social and economic development interventions that increase the strength of households to meet their needs more sustainably. We work with both rural and urban communities occupying non-formal and informal settlements with the very poor and economically vulnerable.

Supporting gender equality, early marriages and children rights through strengthening peer-to-peer networks for GBV prevention and response activities.

Promoting development of viable income generating activities as a strategy for improving household income and resilience.

Supporting access to good health and nutrition for OVCs, children with disabilities and other most vulnerable groups.
Education
Enhancing access to quality education for OVC and CWD through sponsorship as a way of increasing their school attendance, transition, retention, and completion and rates.
Mobilizing Resources
Mobilizing resources; both financial and non-financial to enable the organization realize its mission and vision.

Building the capacity women and youth on entrepreneurship to identify economic development opportunities available in their areas.
